Boy oh boy ... last night was WILLIE HARRIS NIGHT! Can you say, "6 for 6?" Even Sports Illustrated wrote about him ... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/baseball/mlb/07/21/cards.braves.ap/index.html
I'm making my signs now for the Braves/Mets game in NYC (I go in 3 weeks!). One will read:
"ALL THE WAY FROM CAIRO, GEORGIA TO WATCH WILLIE PLAY!" ... and the other will read: "Jose who?" (For those of you who have a regular life and aren't obsessed with major league baseball, Jose Reyes plays for the Mets and he gets lots of press for being an exciting player ... Willie is more exciting).
He ... is 'da man ...

I love it!! I wish I could go just to watch you watch Willie!! :D That would be a blast....
That would be fun ... I wish Karli had more than 2 tickets!!!
Thanks so much! Too bad you don't know your "modern teen slang" very well. Perhaps you meant to call us LAME?
No. Y'all are behind the times. Hello, it's still 1951 down there. Once you get indoor plumbing and stop working the fields, then we will talk, Julio.
Yeah, you're right - it IS still 1951, and if that's true then calling us "gay" would be soooooooooooo incorrect. You'd have to call us "wierdos" or some other lame Leave-it-to-Beaver type slang.
Love,
Julio
Squares, maybe....
Yeah, you ain't lying. The game he played after we spoke on the phone he went 1 for 4. I felt terrible! I know how superstitious baseball players are ... and I'm sure he's saying to himself, "I am NEVER talking to that chica again!"
I hope I don't jinx him when I go to NY and watch him in Shea Stadium. If he sucks that day, we'll know for sure, huh?
