Yeah, I like this picture, too ... and I agree with you ... I think by sticking it out through better or worse and all the other vows has made me stronger. There was a time that I resented Mom (just a bit) that she didn't show us that a wife shouldn't have to deal with the crap Dad sometimes handed her, but now I truly appreciate what she showed us. I agree that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I've had nearly 18 years with this man, and I'd do it all over again, too. There is something to be said for commitment ... and I think we've proven that. Oh, and you should know that I have you to thank as well ... while Mom was my first example of what it means to commit yourself to someone and keep your promise, you are most definitely the runner up. Add that to how great a Mom you are to Tyler and Amanda, I have such great role models! Lucky Jen!
